IMI has been awarded a contract to supply severe service valves (SSVs) for the new Homer City Energy Campus in Pennsylvania, set to become a large natural gas-powered plant.
The 4.4 GW facility, featuring seven high-efficiency turbines, is designed to support a 3,200-acre campus catering to AI and high-performance computing needs.
Redeveloping the former coal site, the project marks a major step toward cleaner, flexible energy generation.
IMI will supply all SSV packages, including turbine bypass systems, ensuring the plant’s reliability, efficiency, and operational flexibility.
