Mammoet has achieved milestones in two large-scale UAE loadout operations, reinforcing its expertise in heavy transport and lifting.
In Jebel Ali, the company completed the transport, loadout and mooring of the 5,461-tonne jacket foundation for the BorWin6 offshore HVDC platform, part of TenneT’s 980-MW German North Sea grid connection delivered by McDermott.
Using 216 axle lines of SPMTs and advanced mooring systems, the structure is now secured for sailaway to Europe.
Mammoet will next jack up and weigh the 17,000-tonne topside using its Mega Jack System in 2026.
Separately, at Khalifa Port, Mammoet executed its largest UAE loadout, transporting and shipping massive gas modules in four consignments.
