SLB has been awarded a $1.5 billion, five-year integrated contract by Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) for the Mutriba field in Kuwait, covering design, development, and production management.

The project leverages SLB’s subsurface expertise to support planning and execution in deeper, technically challenging reservoirs with high-pressure, high-temperature and sour conditions.

The expanded scope reflects SLB’s growing responsibility as development progresses, focusing on faster and more efficient extraction of complex and remote resources.
