High pressure water jetting ... additional investments part of RISAL efforts to meet client needs

On September 14, 2001, Redland Industrial Services (Arabia) Ltd. (Risal) will celebrate 25 years of experience in the industrial services business in Saudi Arabia.

During the last 12-month period, RISAL has expended considerable investment in the acquisition and upgrading of its existing fleet of equipment in chemical cleaning, blasting and coating, high pressure water jetting, tank cleaning and waste management to remain a leader in the fields of industrial services, according to the company.

Recently, a decision was taken to improve and expand the service facilities of RISAL at both Jeddah (opened in 1978) and Yanbu (opened in 1981).

These improvements will, according to the company, allow for RISAL to maintain a fleet of service-ready equipment and personnel to meet the growing demand for both scheduled and unscheduled requirements of many diverse client needs. The ability to meet the long-term contract needs of a client coupled with the ability to respond to emergency situations will be the calling card of RISAL.

Advances in technologies have given RISAL additional abilities to prepare and apply specialised coatings, which allow the client to extend the service life of its process units while avoiding costly shut down time.

Strategic alliances with specialised US and European companies, which complement and strengthen RISAL's resources and capabilities, has further improved and extended the range of products and services.

Additional investments into specialised chemical cleaning equipment, high pressure water jetting units (20,000PSI) and custom waste management vehicles meeting the latest MEPA requirements are just a part of the RISAL effort to stay in tune with the expanding market needs of its clients.

RISAL says that it is positioning all the Business Line Units (chemical cleaning, high pressure water jetting, waste management, blasting and coating) to meet the expanded work scope projected for the Jubail and Yanbu areas during the next five years.

The recent agreements for gas sector developments in the Eastern Province will strain the current infrastructure of companies' abilities to meet the needs of the developing customers, RISAL says.

Industrial services are required at the start, during the active life and during the decommissioning of all projects. RISAL: is upgrading and expanding the fleet of both equipment and personnel to meet the future needs of the Kingdom.

RISAL offers a professional company workforce of more than 375 experienced personnel currently serving more than 300 clients throughout the Kingdom on a daily basis. Its ability to cover the full spectrum of industrial services with experienced, trained operatives gives it the advantage few others can achieve.

RISAL says that it is committed to providing total quality services and is currently working in accordance with industry Quality Assurance Standards throughout its Product Line Business Units.

Its commitment to quality, provision of excellence and client satisfaction is a watchword in both the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the GCC countries.
