'We have helped customers become more efficient and sustainable by reducing their energy consumption while increasing their production levels and at the same time reducing their carbon footprint,' Marco van der Linden tells OGN
Bilfinger aims to realise its ambition of becoming a leading industrial services provider in the Middle East and beyond by helping customers achieve their goals of becoming more efficient and sustainable.
The company has an extensive and successful track-record in providing efficiency-improvement and sustainable solutions to virtually all industries involved in the energy generation, transport and storage, and conversion businesses.
Bilfinger’s involvement can be found at all stages of the lifecycle of an asset; from inception and engineering to construction, maintenance and dismantling of industrial facilities.
Speaking to OGN energy magazine, Marco van der Linden, Managing Director at Bilfinger Tebodin Middle East, says: "We have helped our customers become more efficient by reducing their energy consumption while increasing their production levels and at the same time reducing their carbon footprint."
The company has been able to do this successfully by being close to its customers.
"We spend a significant amount of time at the production sites of our customers, and have a thorough understanding of their needs and how to help them improve their operations in line with their specific needs. This is also the reason why our customers keep coming back to us: We deliver value for money," van der Linden explains.
Always planning ahead, Bilfinger has invested in a large number of efficiency and sustainable initiatives of its own; from digitalisation of maintenance processes to educating the local population about the importance of sustainable living.
"At Bilfinger, we thrive to make the world a better place with a commitment to the energy segment by putting in place adequate plans for a sustainable standing in the market," says van der Linden.
Bilfinger leads by example when it comes to integration of what it does in the local communities and what is important and relevant for it to create a brighter future for current and future generations.
"Our vision is to make this work together with our customers, suppliers, employees and other stakeholders. We can then build on this for our next ambition," says van der Linden.
PARTICIPATION AT ADIPEC
Bilfinger will be showcasing its products and services at this year’s Adipec.
The event offers Bilfinger an opportunity to present itself and the new developments happening in a century-old company.
Commenting on the event, van der Linden says: "Adipec 2022 returns at a crucial period for the energy industry as the world takes stock of the dynamics of climate change and the shift towards renewables and reducing the carbon footprint. It is really fascinating to see the ever-evolving environment of the energy industry post-Covid times."
He adds: "The pandemic era has really tested the patience and resilience of every company in the value chain, and the collaborative approach used by them to stand out strong has also been incredible."
As such, an event like Adipec is "a substantiated evidence of this revival. Meanwhile, the unparalleled commitment shown by the energy companies along with the governments has been phenomenal", van der Linden says.
Every year, Bilfinger expands its portfolio with new and diverse service lines and expanded geographical footprint.
Its wide range of services include engineering design, consultancy services like health and safety, management consultancy, project management services as well as maintenance, operational support and optimisation of industrial facilities. It also focuses on cross -selling of services in different market units and being a one-stop solution for clients.
