OIL AND GAS NEWS magazine was a media partner for Adipec 2020, which had a massive global outreach. It created 3.6 billion ad impressions, 1.9 million video views, 1.6 million page views and had 103,280 unique visitors to the website in November alone. It also generated over $90 million in ad value.

Other statistics include 288 conference sessions, 941 speakers, 88 participating companies, 242 exhibitors from 18 countries, and 292,612 total number of hours watched.

Participants joined in from all over the world, mostly from the Mena region (32 per cent), followed by Asia (22 per cent), Europe (21 per cent), Africa (13 per cent), and the Americas (12 per cent).

A bespoke AI based integrated matchmaking service at Adipec 2020 was the Virtual Meetings Programme, where speakers, conference delegates, sponsors, exhibitors and media partners booked virtual one-on-one individual or group meetings. The programme created more than 49,000 discussions and 726 video calls at an average 58 minutes call duration.

At the virtual exhibition, 41,751 contacts were made, nearly 50,000 discussions done, 1,424 meetings held, and over 95,000 messages exchanged.

The estimated value of business that concluded virtually and over the next 12 months as a result of attending Adipec 2020 ran into the tens of millions.

The 10th edition of the Adipec Awards was also hosted virtually. Some 460 entries were received from 179 companies representing 37 countries. There were 30 finalists and 10 winners. Over 800 people viewed the awards live and which had public relations reach of over 14 million.

Additionally, the Adipec 2020 Virtual Technical Conference provided unique access to the latest industry knowledge, technical expertise, applications, products, solutions and services. Spanning upstream and midstream, the technical sessions were created by a committee of industry experts, resulting in 115 virtual technical sessions across 15 technical categories which were watched live and can now be viewed on demand.
