Danway Electrical and Mechanical Engineering
The contracts and project management activity of Danway was established in 1990, providing unparalleled expertise in implementing mechanical, electrical and instrumentation projects on turnkey basis.  The group's scope of activities ranges from  design development to erection, testing, commissioning and maintenance for industrial & infrastructural projects. Today, it is one of the biggest activities of Danway continuing  on its success path with many prestigious projects awarded to the company.
The latest accolade that has been received by the group is the multi-million dollar contract for the electrical, instrumentation and control works on 100 MIGD Shuweihat Power & Desalination Plant project. 

Major scope of the project includes electrical and instrumentation works associated with sea water supply and desalination, blending and potable water storage, special water facilities, etc. Scheduled to be completed in three phases, the team has already completed phases one and two and Phase three is well on target.

It is the second project with Fisia Italimpianti after the successful completion of Jebel Ali KII Desalination Plant  in 2002.
The team was responsible for the successful execution of the electrical and instrumentation works associated with 3 nos 250 MW ST, Auxiliary Boilers, 400 kV and 132 kV substations, 132 kV Cable Installation and associated 11 kV/LV control cabling of the Jebel Ali KII Power and Desalination Plant.
Other key projects undertaken by the company are :
Jebel Ali KII plant- Complete electrical and instrumentation erection works for the Jebel Ali KII power and desalination plant.
Interconnection of Thumrait Power Station -  MHEW,  Oman. A project involving the design, supply, installation, testing and commissioning of 33/11kV substation and also 26 kms of 33 kV cable laying works and associated civil works.
33/11 kV Substation at Etisalat Engineering College, Sharjah. Design, engineering, supply  and commissioning of 33/11 kV substation for ETISALAT.
Van Ommeren Tank Terminal  Fujairah Phase 1 to 4. Complete electrical and instrumentation works for fuel tank farm including DCS System, tank gauging system, substation, street lighting, offshore platform, etc.

Danway Mechanical Engineering  Group
Danway's Mechanical Engineering Group has been one of the oldest in the history of the company's operations dating back from 1976.  The division started its activities with the company's traditional business of diesel power generators and service. Today, it has grown into a significant business house by itself offering a host of engineering products and specialist services in the assorted fields of industrial & commercial sectors.

The EASE Group of Danway was formed as a result of restructuring by amalgamation of all the synergetic and operationally independent Business Units belonging to the Electrical and Electronic Industrial Fraternity, under a common umbrella, thus optimising the sharing of resources and enhancing operational efficiency.
The Engineering activities chiefly relate to electrical power generation, transmission, and distribution. The clientele includes the Oil-Gas-Petrochem sector, Infrastructural Building sector, Public sector service Utilities.
