Afreximbank has provided a $64 million acquisition finance facility to Levene Energy Development Limited, enabling its equity investment in Bluecore Gas Infraco and a 30 per cent stake in Axxela, a leading West African gas and power infrastructure company.

The investment also advances regional energy transition goals, supporting Axxela’s gas infrastructure, power generation, and cleaner energy projects, positioning it for sustainable growth across West Africa.
