Congo celebrated its first exports from Phase 2 of the Congo LNG project, boosting investor interest.
Operated by Eni, the Nguya FLNG facility lifts Congo’s liquefaction capacity to 3 million tonnes per year, complementing the Tango FLNG unit and sourcing gas from Nené and Litchendjili fields.
Alongside LNG expansion, regulatory reforms, new exploration permits, and redevelopment projects strengthen Congo’s role as a competitive African LNG exporter, offering investors access to growth across upstream, midstream, and gas monetisation opportunities.
