BACKGROUND

Bapco Upstream is planning to install seven new non-associated gas compression facilities around the Bahrain field. Collectively the compression stations will have the capacity to process 920 million standard cubic feet per day (MMSCFD).

PROJECT SCOPE

The scope includes installing seven new non-associated gas compression stations.

PROJECT STATUS

As of January 2026, engineering design is nearing completion. The construction work is being conducted by Jereh. The firm will supply some of the main project parts, including the compressors.

PROJECT FINANCE

Bapco Upstream is the client of the project.
