For the oil and gas sector, especially with its demanding specifications and expectations for performance in the toughest conditions, Atlas Copco developed the suitable product for instrument air applications. 100 per cent oil-free air, clean & dry in extreme temperatures with dusty and humid conditions, required a very well designed and reliable system - and Atlas Copco's Z compressors ideally met the needs.

For other conventional applications, Atlas Copco also provides the Oil-injected compressors, and today is indeed the leader in both technologies. Inma markets both types and fully provides the back-up support for the more than 1500 units operating in the field today. The oil sector also uses portable diesel engine driven compressors in its various fields for operating pneumatic tools and other accessories, which are again much sought after products from Atlas Copco. Lately, the newly extended range of Diesel Gensets, covering a wide capacity range, have also begun making a mark for themselves.
