Alaa industrial equipment factory (AFI) an ISO 9002 company- one of the leading suppliers of industrial goods in the Middle East has now ventured into manufacture of rubber and polyurethane products through its newly established factory in Dammam- Saudi Arabia.

AFI has a technical collaboration with Mitex Germany, who is the world leader in the rubber technology. AFI Rubber factory is equipped with the most sophisticated machineries supplied by Mitex Germany along with technology transfer agreements.
The growing demand for quality rubber and polyurethane (PU) products in the region has been the reason behind this new venture. AFI's core expertise in the field of industrial products and services is further fortified with the opening of rubber factory.

Many users of rubber products in the kingdom import their rubber products from Europe and United States. However, long delivery time, exorbitant transportation costs, warranty claims etc.. have been key problems faced by these customers.  AFI intends to fill this gap in the market- to provide world class quality products and technical support to the local industry, through its network of 12 branches in the region. AFI Rubber factory's capabilities:
POLY EUROTHANE ROLLERS: A technology transfer deal with Mitex Germany, the world leader has enabled AFI to procure the most modern equipment to meet the challenge satisfying the most discerning customers in the market. Well trained technicians in Mitex Germany are capable for recovering rollers for various industries such steel, printing etc. AFI Rubber factory can take diameter up to 1200mm and length up to 5000mm and hardness 0-90 shore A, 60-90 shore D. The covering also can be in different colours such as Red, Yellow, Brown and Green Blue
PU PRODUCTS: AFI rubber factory also manufactures castable PU Products, Pipeline cleaning pigs, Scrapers, foam plugs, screen decks chutes and lining- Abrasion resistant products.
RUBBER ROLLS: AFI rubber has the capability to recover rolls with diameter 1200 x 6000mm hardness 50-80 shore A, 65-80 shore D. Hard (ebonite) and soft rolls- NR, SBR, CR, BUTYL, HYPALONr EPDM materials can be used as roll coverings.
Capability such as pulley lagging and erring bone & diamond patterns are also possible for AFI rubber factory to manufacture.
RUBBER MOULDINGS: Rubber moulding business, we reckon, is of huge potential in the market. Afi Rubber has taken special care to ensure that quality rubber mouldings can be manufactured at competitive prices to serve various customers segments. Rubber mouldings can be up to 850mm x 685mm x 685mm (Length, width and diameter). The factory manufacturing capability includes rubber to Metal bondings, compression mouldings, transfer mouldings and Rubber textiles composites. Process NR, SBR, NBR HNBR, CR, EPDM, SILICONE (MQ), HYAPONr VAMACr AND VITONr
The typical applications of rubber mouldings include; Pinch valve sleeves;unders type diaphragms; butterfly valve seat; butterfly valve disc; slurry handling pump liners; chemical pump impellers; chevron packing; screw pump liner; bucket seals; sealing elements.
Roll grindings/Rotor Balancing: AFI rubber factory can also do the roll grinding up to 1200mm x 8000mm for both Rubber and PU rolls. The operators have been trained in Germany to provide this specialised job. AFI rubber can do jobs up to 3000 kg and length up to 5000 mm for both rubber & PU coated, metal rolls and rotors. Metal rectifications of rolls prior to rubber coating can also be undertaken by the rubber factory.  Under AFI rubber factory roof, they are capable of undertaking Roll - metal rectification, roll fabrication, roll balancing and roll coating
