Oil Field and Energy Services Est (OFES) is dedicated to provide specialised services, equipments, spare parts and specialty chemical to the oil and gas, refineries, petrochemicals, power and other industries, through joint-venture partnerships, as an agent, representative or supplier for a host of multi-international companies to provide the latest technologies, and technical support to their customers.
A list of industrial supplies includes turbines, compressors, pumps, valves hydraulic and pneumatic controls, filtration equipment, fitting and hoses, seals, packing and gaskets, tools, instrumentation and electrical controls, measuring device, gauges and transmitters, heat exchanger, evaporators and condensers, and also chemicals.
In terms of electrical supplies, the firm provides power and distribution transformers, MV and LV switch gears and spare parts, package stations, motor control gears and panel boards, and protection relays.
They also provide a supply of fine chemicals including process chemicals for oil and gas uses, refinery and petrochemicals, as well as lubricants.
The firm was established to provide engineering procurement, and related services to the oil, gas petrochemical, and power industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The client base includes Saudi Aramco, the various Sabic companies, Sceco power plants as well as local and international contractors who undertake projects within the energy sector in Saudi Arabia.

R and W International
OFES is also the agent for one of the foremost suppliers of oilfield and water well equipment to the Middle East. Founded in 1988, R and W International manufactures flow meters and pumps, while representing about 25 manufacturers on an exclusive basis in the Middle East with service and sales facilities in Kuwait, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates, as well as an extensive network of sales support staff throughout the Middle East. R and W has a service facility at Fifth of October City, Cairo, Egypt.
They offer a complete line of water well equipment from drilling rigs to down-hole submersible pumps and motors. As well as manufacturing their own line of turbine flow meters, residential water and gas meters for developing countries, and submersible pump cable.
As a continually expanding concern the firm has plans to open stocking facilities in the Jebel Ali duty free zone in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Blue line pumps
R and W manufactures a complete line of deep well, lineshaft, and submersible turbine pumps, as well as a complete line of municipal and industrial pumps, including 50 Hz and 60 Hz curves, schematics, materials table, and dimensions table. Bowls range in size from 4' to 28' capable of producing from 5 gallons per minute to 18,000 gallons per minute at up to 1,500 feet of head. Standard cast iron discharge heads are available with 3' to 10' outlets. Fabricated steel heads can be custom configured with 2' to 30' outlets.
Submersible discharge heads are also available with 2' to 12' outlets. All products can be had in a wider range of materials including cast iron, ductile iron, cast steel, Ni-resist, Ni-hard, bronze alloys (including aluminum-bronze), stainless steels and heat treated aluminum. Many bowl modifications are available.
Precision turbine flow meters
The RandW precision turbine flowmeter measures volume by a contour mounted turbine in the flow stream. The AC signal output is detected by a transducer and interpreted by various electronic devices used for flow rate indication and totalisation.
The flowmeters are manufactured to handle problems of viscosity, corrosive media, extreme temperature, and hazardous materials. Its compact and rugged design has established a new standard for flow measurement meeting today’s need for higher accuracy, greater reliability, and functioning under severe operating conditions.
Submersible electric motors
R and W also manufactures a complete line of submersible electric motors.
These have a number of unique features such as combination labyrinth/bag; they allow motor oil to expand and contract; keeps water out of motor; takes thrust load from pump; bag provides redundant barrier; multiple mechanical seals prevents water from entering motor; high load thrust bearing; bearing runs in clean oil; splined connections higher power capabilities; flanged connections quick, easy, mistake-proofing.

The advantages of submersible system over lineshaft turbines are that it requires lower installation costs, minimal surface equipment, reduces noise, reduces unsightly equipment, reduces vandalism, controls can be miles from well, no long shaft, reduces fluid friction losses, no lineshaft friction losses, no column bearings to fail, eliminates shaft vibration, easier and faster to set, and it is reliable in crooked wells.
