UTEC Survey Asia, a Geo-services brand in Acteon’s Data and Robotics division, has partnered with Saudi-owned Front End to strengthen its presence in the Saudi energy and geoscience subsea survey market.

Front End's companies are a leading provider of advanced products and solutions for the offshore energy industry and for diverse economic sectors in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.

Front End will play a pivotal role in UTEC’s growing presence in Saudi Arabia, by promoting survey services across new developments in the Red Sea, helping with logistics and obtaining licences and permits.

"Today marks a significant milestone as we proudly announce the strategic partnership between UTEC and Front End, a distinguished energy addition organisation based in Saudi Arabia," says Sudhir Pai, Executive Vice-President, Data and Robotics Division, Acteon. "The collaboration strategically combines our strengths but also reaffirms UTEC’s cutting-edge advancements in geoscience technology and development in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia."

As UTEC and Front End join forces, they anticipate numerous opportunities, with plans to welcome technologies and services to the partnership from other Acteon companies. This forward-looking strategy aims to expand both parties’ influence, creating a resilient ecosystem for sustained growth in the energy addition sector.

"Front End has differentiated itself as the most reliable and innovative total solution provider in the main energy hub of the world," says Majid Alghaslan, Chairman and CEO – Front End. "We are excited about this strategic partnership with UTEC and Acteon as we extend our portfolio as the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia embarks on an ambitious economic diversification plan as part of Saudi Arabia’s Vision 2030."
