AVEVA is combinining data-driven insights enhanced with industrial AI and human expertise to deliver what the firm terms Industrial Intelligence.
Jesus Hernandez, AVEVA’s Senior Vice-President for EMEA, told OGN energy magazine the company has deployed its Intelligent Alert Management System across seven data centres operated by e&, integrating with ETAP’s electrical system digital twin to streamline maintenance response and minimise downtime aligned with service level agreements.
AVEVA’s CONNECT platform delivers end-to-end software solutions spanning the complete asset lifecycle from engineering through operations to what Hernandez characterises as "community" stage, connecting internal capabilities with external ecosystems.
Major energy operators including ADNOC and Saudi Aramco have already implemented AVEVA’s combination of simulation technologies, data management, predictive analytics, and real-time optimisation across their operations.
The company positions digital twins as central to asset lifecycle digitalisation, with AI integration enabling continuous optimisation beyond organisational boundaries.
AVEVA’s strategy centres on customer-centric innovation and ecosystem collaboration rather than isolated capability development.
Hernandez says human expertise remains essential throughout AI model development, training, and fine-tuning phases, with technology amplifying rather than replacing human intervention.
The Middle East represents a strategic growth region, which demonstrate stronger appetite for technology deployment.
