IRM Offshore and Marine Engineers is the flagship company of IRM Group, founded in 1964. During the journey of last five decades, IRM has established itself as one of the most reliable names in the offshore and marine industry and caters to the offshore platforms and ports across the globe.

IRM is an IMS certified company covering ISO: 9000, ISO: 14000, OHSAS: 18000 duly equipped with a manufacturing capability certificate from Germanischer Lloyd, Hamburg for all the products in their portfolio. IRM provides custom built solutions to suit specific application required by its clientele.

Its products for offshore platforms include diaphragm closures, pile closures, pile gripper assemblies, grout seals and grout packer, barge bumper asssembly and shock cells, boat landing D-Type fenders, rub-strips, arch fenders, boat landing shear fenders, shock pads etc.

IRM’s products for ports, harbours and jetties include all type and size of solid and floating fenders, CI/CS bollards from 2 tonne to 500 tonne capacity, SS/MS mooring rings, hooks, edge protectors, facia shields, dock liners, rubber ladders, chains, shackles, berthing and navigational accessories.

IRM has a fully fledged design department, fully equipped with state-of-the-art software and test-beds to design and validate the products by prototype testing. “We regularly interact with the user groups, designers, consultants and research institutes to develop new products and improve upon the existing ones. We have many times achieved concept to commercial production within an extremely short span which has proved our engineering excellence time and again to provide optimum solutions to our clientele within their budgets,” says a company spokesperson. “Our engineering excellence has kept us going and growing despite the global recession at times,” he adds.

IRM’s factory is located in Ahmedabad, India. The state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is well-equipped with versatile hydraulic presses having capacity up to 6,000 tonnes for manufacturing and testing of any type and size of offshore products used in today’s marine engineering field.
