The Hi-Force head office in Daventry, UK

As a growing company, Hi-Force ensures that facilities can cope with growth without compromising on quality, delivery and price and this can only be achieved by constantly improving the facilities and overall efficiency

Hi-Force, the UK headquartered global high pressure hydraulic tools provider is experiencing ambitious expansion plans throughout 2015.

The company’s UK manufacturing facility has recently purchased four HAAS machines, at a total investment valued at £250,000 ($39,466). These brand new additions to the company’s existing fleet of 12 Mori Seki CNC machines will be utilised for turning and milling of existing components and new components as required.

Hi-Force will take the delivery of the HAAS machines later this month, including, two VF-3 and one VF-2 Vertical Machining Centre and one ST-30T Lathe Machining Centre. These HAAS machines are not a direct equivalent of the Mori Seki machines, but will be introduced to complement and free up capacity on the more specialised machines, such as the five and seven axis machines, by completing the simpler operations.

Hi-Force group managing director, Kevin Brown, recently announced the relocation of HES Sales Limited, one of Hi-Force’s most successful global distributors. The new facility will be 15,000 sq ft, double the size of its existing premises, comprising of 10,000 sq ft fully equipped workshop, 5,000 sq ft office complex, plus a training school and conference facility. During the announcement, Kevin commented: "I am delighted that the Group Board has approved this investment in HES Sales, it is only right that we now invest in a much larger purpose modified facility, giving HES Sales its own corporate identity.

"HES Sales are very grateful to Northamptonshire Enterprise Partnership (NEP) for their valued financial assistance by way of a grant towards the cost of this exciting project. Moving HES Sales to their own facility will bring additional benefits to Hi-Force, it will free up over 8,000 sq ft of space in Prospect Way for further planned expansion for Hi-Force. This investment, which amounts to well over £1 million, is testament to the success and growth of two long established Northamptonshire based companies."

Hi-Force Malaysia Regional Office has purchased a brand new facility, some two and a half times bigger than its current premise. Having taken ownership in September 2014, building and renovation works are well under way; completion is expected by the end of July with the target date for relocation set for September 2015. The significant rise in business levels, together with the increasing demand for UK manufactured products, the need for a bigger facility arose.

The new wholly owned facility, which amounts to £1.4 million, has a total area of 14,000 sq ft and built up area of 9,800 sq ft. In addition to the impressive reception area, the new premises will house a well-equipped workshop for repair and rental services, an ECITB (Engineering Construction Industry Training Board) approved training school, as well as a significantly larger warehouse to accommodate an increased stock holding.

Having operated successfully from its current location for more than 15 years, Hi-Force Abu Dhabi regional office is relocating to a new, purpose-built facility. Situated within the existing premises, the new, two storey office block is over 5000 sq ft, and houses a significantly larger warehouse and a fully equipped workshop repair and rental facility. In the highly demanding Middle East region, this new facility will enable the company to vastly increase its stock holding and ensure that first class products and services are exclusively available to its customers. Work on the existing premises is nearing completion and subject to approvals, the new building will be ready for relocation by August 2015.

As a growing company, it is vitally important for Hi-Force to ensure that facilities can cope with growth without compromising on quality, delivery and price; this can only be achieved by constantly improving the facilities and overall efficiency. Hi-Force claims to be one of the fastest growing high pressure hydraulic tool manufacturers in the world and certainly given the expansion that is taking place in 2015, it would certainly seem to verify its claims!

Aside from the UK head office and manufacturing facilities, Hi-Force also has regional offices located in Holland, Italy, the UAE, Azerbaijan, Malaysia, South Africa and China, and continues to develop its distributor network worldwide.
