Alderley Group of companies has appointed Dermot Clarke as Managing Director for its Middle East business.

In his new role, Dermot, with a background in the power generation industry, will be responsible for growing Alderley's footprint in the region with a strong focus on key markets including Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia.

He will also oversee Alderley’s offer based on best-in-class energy solutions to the wider region including Egypt, Iraq, Kuwait, and Oman.

Dermot joins Alderley with over two decades of experience in the global energy sector and a first-rate track record of growing successful teams. He will be based in Dammam, KSA, and supervise a team of around 150 people with operations and facilities based in Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Qatar, and KSA.

He was previously Vice-President of Marubeni Middle East & Africa Power.
