Global technology and engineering company Emerson has launched its newest manufacturing facility in Jubail, further diversifying its local manufacturing portfolio in Saudi Arabia.

The facility produces solenoid valves, filter regulators and control cabinets and will enable faster, more efficient service to customers in the Kingdom and nearby countries across the Middle East and Africa region.

"This new facility in Jubail is the product of Emerson’s commitment to bring our businesses closer to our customers," says Liam Hurley, Vice-President and General Manager of Emerson in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

"We continually align our capabilities to the needs of our customers. In this region, it has meant migrating some of our capabilities from Dubai to Saudi Arabia to improve efficiency not just in production, but also in logistics and delivery costs to provide better service and value to our customers and partners."

Emerson’s latest investment in Jubail also highlights the company’s support and alignment with regional localisation initiatives such as the in-Kingdom Total Value Add (IKTVA) programme and Saudi Vision 2030.

Emerson already has existing facilities and plants in Dammam, Al Khobar and the Dhahran Techno Valley.
