UBS has appointed Per E Larsson as CEO for the Middle East and North Africa (Mena) and as a member of the Group Managing Board.

Larsson will join UBS on October 1 and will be based in Dubai, reporting to Alex Wilmot-Sitwell, chairman and CEO UBS Group, EMEA.

Larsson was earlier the CEO of Borse Dubai and CEO and board member of the Dubai International Financial Exchange (DIFX).
Michel Adjadj will be appointed chairman for Mena, in addition to his current role as head of UBS’s Eastern Mediterranean, Middle East and African Wealth Management business.

Peter Burnett will continue as CEO of the Investment Bank in Mena until September 30, said a statement.- TradeArabia News Service
