Saudi Arabian Mining Company (Ma'aden) has completed the export of the first phosphate fertiliser production by its subsidiary Wa’ad Al-Shamal Phosphate Company, said a report.

This first quantity was transferred by Al-Shamal Railway to Ras AlKhair Port and then shipped from there, a Saudi Press Agency report said.

The cargo included about 26,000 metric tonnes of ammonium diphosphate (DAP) fertiliser. Wa'ad Al-Shamal is set to become one of the world's largest phosphate production and manufacturing, it said.
