King Abdullah City for Atomic and Renewable Energy (K.A.CARE) won three gold medals, one silver medal, and a special award at the 51st International Exhibition of Inventions in Geneva, as part of the energy sector delegation participating in the event.

K.A.CARE’s innovations included a water desalination system that combines solar thermal energy with forward osmosis technology, as well as advanced solutions for developing enhanced carbon electrodes for supercapacitors used in energy storage systems.

The city also showcased a battery-based energy storage control system designed to enhance power quality in microgrids.

On the sidelines of the exhibition, K.A.CARE delivered a presentation highlighting its role in advancing renewable energy technologies and fostering innovation within the energy sector.-OGN/TradeArabia News Service
