A delegation of Saudi innovators from the Innovative Industrial and Mining Products Programme affiliated with the Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Industry and Mineral Resources, won five international medals during their participation in the Geneva International Exhibition of Inventions 2026.
The achievement reflects the ministry’s ongoing efforts to create an environment that supports innovation and creativity while empowering innovators in the industrial and mining sectors, reported Saudi Press Agency.
The ministry participated in the exhibition by showcasing five promising national innovations supported by the Innovative Industrial and Mining Products Programme, one of its initiatives aimed at supporting innovators,
by developing creative ideas for the industrial and mining sectors and transforming them into practical, manufacturable products.
The participation also seeks to enable Saudi innovators to present their work to experts, investors, and industrial companies from around the world. This exposure opens new avenues for cooperation, partnerships,
and knowledge transfer, while enhancing opportunities to transform these innovations into marketable industrial products.
The initiative represents an important platform for strengthening the Kingdom’s presence in industrial and mining innovation, highlighting national efforts to support a knowledge-based economy, and contributing to the realisation of the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030.
The achievement also reflects the continued development of the Kingdom’s innovation ecosystem and the growing capabilities of Saudi innovators, reinforcing Saudi Arabia’s position as a regional and global hub for innovation in the industrial and mining sectors. -OGN/TradeArabia News Service
