AL-NAJIM SAUDI International Co. Ltd. (NASICO) has completed 25 years of operations this year. 

Over this period it has established a good reputation as a reliable supplier of engineered products and services to a wide range of clientele in the oil, gas, petrochemical, power generation/transmission, water desalination, cement and other core industries in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
The Company, with its head office in Al-Khobar, consists of a technical trading division; electrical and mechanical engineering services division (workshop division), comprising valve shop, machine shop, switchgear repair shop, electrical motor rewind shop and steel fabrication shop; lift division; fiberglass division; and German auto service.
With its emphasis on rendering quality services to its clientele, which include Saudi Aramco, Sabic, Saudi Electricity Company, Petrochemical Industries, SWCC, Cement Plants, etc., the Company has established its credentials and enjoys the privilege of being the accredited vendors/contractors to these Companies.
On Saudisation, the Company reaffirmed its commitment for the implementation of the Saudisation programme.  To fulfill this objective, the firm has launched an on-the-job training programme in various disciplines for the local youth hired from different technical training schools so as to offer them long-term employment in the group.
The Technical Trading Division, represents major overseas companies, like, Tyco Valves and Controls Group Companies, (Flow Control Technologies, Fasani, Vanessa, Keystone, Anderson Greenwood Crosby, Yarway, Biffi, etc.), SKF Reliability Systems, SKF Dymac/Vibrometer, Alstom Moteurs, Larsen and Toubro limited (heavy engineering division), Dowding and Mills, and Supplies Engineered Products, viz. pipeline and process valves, actuators, pressure vessels, columns, heat exchangers, large motors, vibration monitoring and analysis equipment, machinery protection systems, laser alignment systems, balancing machines, protection relays. 
This division also provides specialised services, including condition monitoring of rotating equipment, laser alignment services, root cause analysis and asset efficiency optimisation, including plant assessment, maintenance strategy improvements, proactive reliability maintenance (prm) and streamlined reliability centered maintenance (srcm) and rewinding of high voltage motors and generators. 
Also Technical Trading is responsible for the back-up technical support/after sales service that it provides through the Nasico’s state-of-the-art mechanical/electrical workshop.  Recently, this Division, in association with SKF Reliability Systems has set up a Reliability Maintenance Institute (RMI), with the prime objective of offering comprehensive training courses, designed to help eliminate machinery problems and achieve maximum reliability and productivity.
The Workshop Division of NASICO takes pride in having a comprehensively well-equipped state-of-the-art facility, offering the following services:
Valve shop 
Conforming to relevant API, ASME, ANSI and other International Standard, coupled with the accreditation of being the approved Contractors for Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, and Sabic. This shop undertakes overhaul/repairs/testing, both at its facility and on site, of all types of valves of varying sizes and pressure ranges, including gate, globe, plug, ball, check, butterfly, control and safety relief valves, pneumatic and electrical actuators.  Well-equipped Valve Repair Mobile Workshops (VRMW) enable it to undertake onsite (both offshore and onshore) testing and repair of valves and accessories all over the Kingdom and in neighbouring countries.
Machine shop
This shop, which is equipped with a wide range of equipment like centre lathes, cylindrical, internal and surface grinders, slotters, millers, vertical borer, lap master and super finishing machinery, offers precision machining services and supplies precision-machined components to a wide range of clients in the Kingdom.  Under this group, field services are offered all over the Kingdom, involving major overhauling of machine tools (lathes, milling machines, etc.), available in clients’ workshops.  This is a specialised area involving highly skilled technicians and over the years the group says it has established a very good track record.
Switchgear repair and electrical motor rewind shop:
This shop undertakes maintenance of low voltage switchgears as well as carrying out rewinding of electrical motors and servicing of RMUs, LV Panels and Extended Oil Switches (EOS).
Fabrication shop
The structural steel fabrication shop is ISO 9001 2000 certified.  With its qualified and well-experienced engineers and fabricators, this shop offers engineering, fabrication and installation of steel structures and products for various steel construction projects for substations, refineries, power plants, petrochemical industries, cement plants, paper mills, iron and steel rolling mills and desalination plants, executing the orders with the highest customer satisfaction level through competitive prices, high quality, on-time delivery and exceptional services.  The range of production includes heavy, medium and light structures of carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminium like A-frames gantries, pipe racks, equipment/vessel platforms, hand rails, cage ladders, gratings, buckets, panel boards, hoppers, tanks, pull boxes and anchor bolts.  The Fabrication shop is also approved by leading clients, like Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, and Sabic, for supply of light and medium steel structures.
The Lift Division
The Lift Division of NASICO also continues to maintain its well-established position in the market, offering a wide range of products and services all over the Kingdom.  A selection of elevators are available in the portfolio of this division, ranging from small compact personal lifts, that can be installed in villas, to high quality elevators/escalators for commercial offices/shopping malls, and explosion proof elevators for hazardous areas in refinery and petrochemical plants.  This division also provides very high quality maintenance services and has long term contracts with leading clients in the Kingdom.
Fiberglass Division
The NASICO spool shop enjoys the experience and expertise gained from our association with WAVIN, Netherlands, a pioneer in this field.  This division produces customised Fiberglass spooling and pipe fittings, and Fiberglass lining on a variety of surfaces to provide a corrosion/erosion barrier.  This division also specialises in site works involving Fiberglass field joints, Installation of Fiberglass pipes and fittings as well as carrying out major repairs on existing installations.
German Auto Services (GAS)
GAS provides comprehensive support and service to Mercedes Benz and BMW Cars, by utilising the latest sophisticated equipment and state-of-the-art technology.  A major new activity undertaken by this division is setting up of a separate shop to carry out refurbishment of Saudi Aramco refueling trucks.
