Valentine vessel serving clients in the Indian Ocean

Valentine Maritime Ltd, one of the leading offshore construction companies in the Middle East, recently completed two major projects in the Gulf region.

The MHN&H pipeline and platform modification project was awarded to Valentine Maritime by Indian firm ONGC to perform engineering, procurement and construction works related to pipelines, as well as modification works on existing platforms in Bombay High Neelam and Heera fields.
The modifications include the replacement of pipelines with new rigid and flexible lines, as well as the laying of new pipelines. Other works on this project include the engineering, procurement and installation of risers, riser clamps and I/J tubes, testing / pre-commissioning of the pipelines, post-installation survey and as built documentation. The contract was valued at $44.8 million.
The second of these completed projects is the Adani ports project, also located in India. Valentine Maritime successfully secured the $28m contract with Adani Ports to install an SPM system and all related pipeline and ancillary equipment off the Mundra Port.
This scope included the laying of 8.63km of 48-inch concrete-coated pipeline system from shore to PLEM.
To meet the ever-increasing work demand in the region, Valentine Maritime acquired its latest vessel, the Derrick Lay Barge DLB600. Built in 1976 and boasting a 600-tonne crane, this 98m long vessel is capable of laying pipelines up to 60 inches in diameter and can accommodate over 200 personnel. The DLB 600 is currently serving clients in the Indian Ocean.
