Al Shoumoukh Group of Companies has set new priorities after receiving a key certification.
In an interview, Dr Ali Saeed Al Ameri, CEO of the group, says;"After receiving our certification on November, 2004, we set new priorities for our group.
“All our employees can participate in, reinforcing risk management.
"Specifically, we will focus on reducing waste to zero per cent in our facility, promoting group purchasing, and preventing accidents to our employees, customers and suppliers who are visiting our work place.
"Also in our offices, we are aiming to achieve energy conservation and zero emissions at all offices, forming a group-wide "office clean-up team" and set guidelines for group procurement of material, equipment and work, and set up standards for selection of group suppliers as much as possible."
Dr Al Ameri said, "We work with our employees, to promote a culture of respect and harmony for the individual and with the organiaation.
"We are valued by our customers, suppliers and maintain good reflection in the society; we also fulfill our social responsibilities as good citizens and expatriates working in UAE.
"It is important for every employee to have the willingness and ability to fulfill their own social responsibility, commitment to respect the individual and harmony within the organisation. Our rules and regulations are in accordance with the UAE Labour Law."
Dr Ameri added, "To get an idea of an employee's ambitions, motivation, and feeling about their work environment, we also carry out employee survey.
"We also set up the group Ethics regulation which includes group behaviour guidelines.
"In the field of employee's educational programmes, we provide them with the opportunities to receive training courses that help them to do their work and future endeavour," he added.
