Exova, the global testing, calibration and advisory services provider, has appointed Shakir Rasheed as general manager of its Oman laboratory.

Rasheed joins Exova from testing group Bureau Veritas, where he was most recently country chief executive for Dubai.

During an eighteen-year career with the company, Rasheed also held similar positions in Oman, Bahrain and Pakistan, developing significant experience in driving commercial growth and operational improvement.

In his new role with Exova, Rasheed will lead a team of over 100 experts providing technically demanding services to customers in the construction, industrials and oil and gas sectors.

Rasheed will also work with Exova’s teams in UAE, Qatar and Saudi Arabia to develop integrated solutions for customers across the Middle East.
