The Gulf Society for Maintenance & Reliability (GSMR) and the Bahrain Society of Engineers (BSE) have announced the 7th International Maintenance, Reliability, and Asset Management Conference – MAINTCON 2024 to be held in October.

The event will commence on October 13, 2024 and continue for four days at the Exhibition World Bahrain, Kingdom of Bahrain, under the patronage of Dr Mohamed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, Minister of Oil and Environment and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs.

MAINTCON is a premier platform for sharing knowledge, best practices, and cutting-edge solutions in maintenance, reliability, and asset management. Building on the success of previous editions, this year’s conference aims to be even more dynamic, insightful, and impactful.

'With over 2,200 delegates, 70+ dedicated sponsors and exhibitors, 80+ distinguished speakers, and eight engaging keynote sessions, MAINTCON 2024 underscores our unyielding commitment to excellence in the industry. Attendees can expect thought-provoking sessions, networking opportunities, and access to the latest innovations,' said the organisers.

The conference's theme, 'Building Resilience in Assets for Sustainable Tomorrow,' highlights the digital transformation and sustainable innovations in maintenance, reliability, and asset management. The event is an ideal platform for international and regional professionals, researchers, service providers, and end users to explore the latest trends within this field since it combines transformation and technological progress with sustainability in this modern era.

Keynote sessions will be delivered by industry experts, recognising outstanding achievements, and celebrating organisations and individuals through the GSMR Excellence Award. Women in Industry & Asset Management (WIAM) provides a dedicated forum for uplifting women professionals with opportunities and shared experiences. Innovation Corner showcases the latest technological innovations, tools, and solutions that enhance maintenance practices and optimise asset performance. Furthermore, a series of technical sessions, workshops, and panel discussions introduce newfound innovations and ideas, providing further insights into the future.
