Adnoc signs ICV partnerships

DUBAI: The Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (Adnoc) has signed agreements with Mubadala Investment Company and Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (Enec) to partner on Adnoc’s In-Country Value (ICV) programme following the success of the programme, which has driven more than AED44 billion ($12 billion) back into the UAE's economy and created over 1,500 private-sector jobs for Emiratis since its launch in 2018.

Under the terms of the agreements, Adnoc, Mubadala, and Enec will explore potential opportunities for collaboration in creating additional skilled employment opportunities for Emiratis in the private sector and sourcing goods and services within the UAE.

EMGF 'gas umbrella' comes into being

CAIRO: The Egyptian Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources oversaw the statute signing of East Mediterranean Gas Forum (EMGF), establishing it as a regional intergovernmental organisation, based in Cairo.

The EMGF aims to serve as a platform that brings together gas producers, consumers and transit countries to create a shared vision and establish a structured systematic policy dialogue on natural gas, leading to the development of a sustainable regional gas market, and unlocking the full gas resource potential in the region for the benefit and welfare of its people.

The EMGF is open for any East Mediterranean country to apply for membership and for any other country, regional, or international organisation to apply to join as an observer provided that they share the same values and objectives of the EMGF and cooperate on the basis of nternational law for regional security.
