The African Energy Chamber (AEC) has partnered with the Ministry of Oil and Gas of Libya to support the Energy Jeel Initiative, aiming to equip young Libyans with the necessary skills and knowledge to participate in the energy sector.
The initiative aims to promote youth skills development, innovation, entrepreneurship, and gender inclusion in the energy workforce, while strengthening Libya’s integration into Africa’s energy community. The initiative will address challenges in Africa’s energy future, such as energy poverty and workforce gaps, and will benefit from Libya’s renewed upstream momentum, such as ExxonMobil’s MoU with the National Oil Corporation.
