Hadi XI ... deployed for rescue and offshore supply

HHE Marine Services has embarked on a new build programme for OSVs equipped with the latest equipment and controls to cater to the latest demands to the offshore industry.

This programme has resulted in a fleet of OSVs with an average age of five years.

HHE has awarded to Keppel Singmarine a repeat order for an anchor handling tug/supply vessel.

This second contract follows the successful completion and early delivery of an AHTS vessel (Hadi XI) recently.

A sister vessel of Hadi XI, this 70 tonne bollard pull AHTS vessel, which is purpose built for offshore support, is scheduled for completion in the first quarter of next year. Measuring 60 m in length and 16m in breadth, the vessel will tow, support and act in the capacity of a safety vessel for offshore drillings and work over rigs.

Both vessels are equipped with state-of-the-art navigational controls and aids including joy stick control. The vessels also have Inmarsat 'B' and 'C' communication equipment and are also designed for firefighting (FiFi-1 Class) including an Emergency Treatment Room and Survivor Area.

Meanwhile, Hadi XI, the vessel which has been delivered, has been deployed as a rescue and offshore supply vessel with Ras Laffan Liquefied Natural Gas Company Ltd (RasGas) in Doha, Qatar.
