Saudi Rockwool ... approved by Saudi Aramco and Sabic

Spraywool insulation is an internationally-proven method of insulation against heat, noise and fire in addition to condensation control and interior structures.

It gives a high quality finish with prescribed compactness without joints/seals quickly, efficiently and with high accuracy. It is therefore a very creative material offering improved safety.

Spraywool is a flexible material made of pure mineral wood fibers. The production is performed without the addition of any solvents, asbestos, cement of fusible silicates.

As insulation has become one of the most important aspects of building construction and renovation, so this technique has become the best due to its vast advantages. For example, while spraying it penetrates anywhere and thus avoids leakage, meaning that it will maintain its properties after repeated absorption/emission of water.

Spraywool is easily applied onto curved, irregular as well as flat surfaces irrespective of whether they are concrete, wood, glass, steel or aluminium etc. The surface can be made smooth, granular or wooly, and soft or hard. After spraying, the excess insulation can be easily removed without using any cleaning properties. Therefore, it does not matter even if carpets have been laid and walls already painted.

This method of sprayed-on mineral fiber offers great versatility, and for most existing application areas there are tests and type approvals. That's why more and more companies are realising the advantages of spraywool.

Saudi Rockwool Factory recently brought this product into the market.

Saudi Rockwool Factory is a leading mineral wool insulation product manufacturer in Saudi Arabia and the Middle East.

The company specialises in the production of rockwool mineral insulation, which is widely used for thermal, acoustical and fire resistance applications.

It was established in 1992, and is located in Riyadh's Third Industrial City, occupying an area of 28,125 sq m.

The factory was started with two furnaces with 3,000 tonnes of production capacity per year. Thanks to market demand, a third furnace was built in 1999 to increase the production to 5,000 tonnes per year.

In April last year Saudi Rockwool Factory signed a contract with a Swedish company to build a new factory, with the latest technologies, to bring production capacity to 20,000 tonnes per year by 2006.

Saudi Rockwool Factory has, over the years, performed a number of prestigious projects both in Saudi Arabia and neighboring countries.

The company is approved by industrial giants such as Saudi Aramco, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (Sabic), Kuwait National Petroleum Company (KNPC), Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC), Qatar Petroleum (QP), Saline Water Conversion Company (SWCC) of Saudi Arabia and Saudi Consolidated Electricity Company (Sceco) of Saudi Arabia.

ISO9002-certified Saudi Rockwool Factory has also been affiliated by many building consultant groups.
