Atheeb Intergraph Saudi Company (AISC), a joint venture of Atheeb Trading Company, Saudi Arabia and US-based Intergraph Corporation, foresees a great future for the company in the coming years.

It augurs well for the company that Intergraph’s SmartPlant Suite is in use widely across the oil and gas and petrochemical sectors in the kingdom, says Khaja Mukarramuddin, branch manager, AISC. The licenses of utilisation of the suite are increasing every year, he says.

There has been booming demand for SmartPlant P&ID, SmartPlant Instrumentation, SmartPlant Electrical, SmartPlant 3D and SmartPlant for owner Operator.

The software products of Intergraph PPM have been standardised across oil and petrochemical industries in the Middle East, says Mukarramuddin. "This year, Bapco and KJO (Khafji Joint Operations) have been added to our client list. Saudi Aramco, Sabic, Sadara, Satorp, Sasref and Samref are already using our products across various disciplines," he says.

Apart from PPM products, Atheeb Intergraph has been implementing Intergraph’s solutions in mapping, GIS and the security sector.

And in the near future the company plans to introduce and improve software products for the process, power and marine industry, he adds.

The company, which has more than 400 staff, has offices in Saudi Arabia (Riyadh, Jeddah and Al Khobar), Bahrain and the UAE (Dubai and Abu Dhabi).
