ATCO's construction workers complete a project

The mission of ATCO Group is, and always has been, to serve the needs of its clients by providing the best quality products and services, maintaining a steady and challenging business growth with a competitive position, and implementing the highest technological advancement available, according to ATCO Group chairman Abdulrahman Ali Al Turki.

'ATCO's power is based both on the qualities of the individual divisions and on the combined strengths of the Group, while all share the ambition to be successful in their respective fields,'' he says.
''Our operations have gained a greater geographic spread through our network of branches located throughout the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Gulf countries, Europe and the US.
'The ATCO Group remains firmly committed to actively participating in the economic growth and advancement of the Kingdom through trade, industry, service and management activities.'
The group owns a number of subsidiaries that primarily but not entirely service the oil and gas industry. The following are a selection of those concerns that are at the forefront of this dynamic industry.

Construction Material
Established more than 20 years ago, with offices and showrooms in Dammam, Khobar, Riyadh and Jeddah. This division of AA Turki recently added permanent representation in Khafji and Madina.
The Division is well positioned to provide a good range of construction material supply services of a technical nature and exclusively represents a number of local, GCC, and foreign manufacturers whose products are in conformity with the internationally accepted quality standards of BSI, ISO and, of course, ASTM.

Construction Chemical Products
The Saudi Company for Chemical Products, popularly known as Al Turki Chemicals, is a 100 per cent Saudi company engaged in the production of construction chemicals, that is applied for civil and industrial projects, precast industries, as well as repair and maintenance needs.

Engineering and Contracting
This Division undertakes major turnkey projects throughout Saudi Arabia.
Incorporated in 1975, the Division has a proven track record of completing numerous construction and civil engineering projects for both the public and private sectors.
The highly skilled work force and the highly qualified engineering professionals have been responsible for the impressive achievements of the Division, including large scale electrical, mechanical, and civil construction projects for residential, commercial and industrial facilities, the company claims.
The Division looks to the future with optimism and is committed to maintain ATCO's reputation as a market leader for quality and professionalism.

Marine Services
What started out in 1975 as a joint venture company for port management and administration has since developed into ATCO Ports Management and Marine Services (APMMS) Division, a wholly-owned division of the ATCO Group of Companies.
APMMS, in conjunction with the Saudi government's privatisation programme, was recently awarded a contract to operate and manage the marine facilities of the Jeddah Islamic Port and the Port of Gizan.
Concurrently through fleet expansion, ATCO Marine owns and operates the largest fleet of oilfield service vessels in the offshore oil exploration and producing industries of Saudi Arabia and has extended its services to all the neighboring GCC countries.
Achieving its certification as an ISO9000/ISM company, ATCO Marine stands at the forefront of marine operations in the Arabian Gulf.
This commitment to a total-quality management system supported by innovation and experience in marine logistics has enabled the branch to reach to high performance levels.
The policy of ATCO Marine is to provide efficient and quality service that meets the requirements and demands of its customers and to continually endeavor to enhance its services while not compromising the environment.
Although ATCO Marine's main thrust and contributions are in the oil and gas exploration and production industries, its leadership in quality and reliability is extended to the following services in conjunction with affiliates of the A A Turki Group of Companies: Port Terminal Operations; Offshore Repair and Maintenance; Offshore Support Logistics; Ship Management; Ship Repair and Systems; Safety & Industrial Security Services Overhaul; Ship's Agency Services; and Hazardous Waste Removal.
