Through its Technical Trading Division, Nasico supplies plant and equipment from these principals, backed by maintenance and after sales services through a dedicated state-of-the-art mechanical/electrical workshop.
Nasico's Workshop Division has over the years expanded its range of activities, besides providing local support for the engineered equipment sold by the Technical Trading Division.
The Workshop Division consists of a valve overhaul and repair shop, structural steel fabrication shop as well as a precision machining shop.
In addition, there is an electrical shop carrying out maintenance of low voltage switchgears as well as carrying out rewinding of electrical motors.
The Valve Shop repairs all types of valves of varying sizes and pressure ranges, including gate, globe, plug, ball, check, butterfly, control and safety relief valves. Pneumatic and electrical actuators are also overhauled and repaired in the workshop.
All valve related services offered by Nasico Valve Shop conform to API, ASME, ANSI and other international standards.
Well-equipped valve repair mobile workshops enable the division to undertake on-site (both offshore and onshore) testing and repair of valves and accessories all over the Kingdom and in neighbouring countries.
The Structural Steel Fabrication Shop is centrally located in Dammam's first industrial area.
It supplies a wide range of fabricated structural steel items, ranging from pipe racks, gantries, GIS support structure, platforms, gratings, handrails, ladders, cable tray support structure, pipes, cyclones, etc. to major contractors all over the Kingdom.
The Fabrication Shop is also approved by leading clients like Saudi Aramco, Saudi Electricity Company, Sabic, etc. for supply of light and medium steel structures.
Nasico Machine Shop has a wide range of equipment like centre lathes, cylindrical, internal, and surface grinders, slotters, millers, vertical borer, lap master and super finishing machinery.
This enables it to supply precision-machined components to a wide range of clients in Kingdom.
Under this Shop, field services are offered all over the Kingdom, involving major overhauling of machine tools (lathes, milling machines, etc.) available in clients' workshops. This is a specialised area involving highly skilled technicians and over the years the group says it has established a very good track record.
The Lift Division of Nasico continues to offer a wide range of products and services all over the Kingdom.
A selection of elevators are available in the portfolio of this Division , ranging from small compact personal lifts that can be installed in villas, to high quality elevators / escalators for commercial offices / shopping malls, and explosion proof elevators in hazardous areas in refinery and petrochemical plants. This group provides very high quality maintenance services and has many long term contracts established with leading clients in Kingdom.
The Al Najim Group is looking at new areas of expansion and in the coming years hopes to establish some local manufacturing facilities from among the wide range of products that it has been supplying in the Kingdom over the last 25 years.
Saudisation plans are in line with the local requirements and there is an on-going programme to train young technicians in various disciplines for long-term employment in the group.
