The 6th Doha Conference on Natural Gas will be held from October 29–November 1, 2007 at the Sheraton Doha Hotel.

The conference is hosted and organised by Qatar Petroleum.
More than 40 renowned experts and corporate executives will be speaking during the three-day conference at the Sheraton Hotel.
The international event will also host guests from around the world who will participate in the workshops and discussions.
Delegates will also have the opportunity to see first hand the developments in Qatar’s natural gas sector through a technical tour.
The conference series has become a major event on the natural gas calendar due to the outstanding and exceptional developments Qatar has accomplished in the gas industry in the past decade under the leadership of the Emir, whose directives are centred on the optimum utilisation of the country’s gas reserves.
The conference will be an excellent chance for foreign investors to pursue partnership opportunities with Qatar Petroleum, especially in the gas-related industries.
The 6th Doha Conference on Natural Gas is the latest in a series of major industry conferences and exhibitions organised or co-organised by Qatar Petroleum.
Other events have included the World Petroleum Congress’ Second Regional Meeting in December 2003, LNG 14 in March 2004 and hosting the 10th International Energy Forum in 2006.
The Organizing Committee is planning to have a most interactive programmr that will cover all aspects of natural gas. To achieve this goal, influential people in the industry are invited to submit abstracts of their potential presentations to the Conference Program Committee for consideration and selection.
The conference promises a great opportunity for interaction with more time being allocated to discussion and interaction between the session speakers and their audience.
The Conference Programme will comprise seven paper sessions and a maximum of four papers per session. Each speaker will have 20 minutes to present his/her paper and 10 minutes of Q&A.
The general theme of the Conference this year is: “Natural Gas – Fueling the 21st Century”.
Sessions are for formal presentations of papers which are technical, economic or commercial in nature, and which are of general interest to a wide audience. The sessions will cover the following topics:
• Global Natural Gas Demand & Supply;
