The company was established in 1984 far away from any human or industrial pollution. The location of the factory was in the desert, 65 km north of Doha, five km away from the main street, where the natural water source was located.
The crystal natural mineral water is taken from 70 metres under the ground. This makes Rayyan Mineral Water rich in essential minerals.
Rayyan has been established under the supervision of Evian, the French company, to assure the best technology is available to get the best quality of water.
Since the beginning, Rayyan has been committed to maintain the quality of its service and product.
And for this reason, a decision was taken in 1996 to shift the production from PVC bottles to PET bottles. It was the third company in the Middle East to make this change and the number one in Qatar.
Rayyan is also the only company that manufactures the pre-form of the PET in Qatar.
Rayyan injects the best PET resin to make the pre-forms and to blow it to form the PET bottles and then send it to the filling machines through clean and aseptic air conveyors.
Instead of getting the preforms in cartons by trailers from out of Qatar, Rayyan is doing all of that under the same roof to assure the best quality and to reduce the chance of any sort of contamination.
Rayyan is the only company which manufactures its polycarbonate five gallon bottles in its factory, where a full automatic machine is loaded with the resin to get heated and injected to the feeder to feed the mould.
The mould will get closed and the material will be blown to get the shape of the five gallon bottle.
By manufacturing the five gallon bottle and producing under the same roof assures the best hygienic conditions under a clean environment.
